I’m super excited about this upcoming show at Noodle Gallery, Alton Mill Art Centre in Alton Village, Caledon. I will be exhibiting new and recent work in cold wax and oil along side beautiful encaustic work by Sandy Middleton and Ann Shier. Please join us on Sunday May 13, 1 to 4 pm for our artist reception — a great Mother’s Day outing!
Secret Cache at Earls Court Gallery in Hamilton opens this Saturday November 25, to mark International Shop Local Saturday. The show features about 50 smaller works by gallery artists — four of them mine! The show runs til December 23.
My joint exhibition at Earls Court Gallery in Hamilton, with the amazing pastel artist Clarence Porter, continues until November 11. My body of work for the show consists of abstracted landscape-based work, filled with the textures and colours, and the play of light and shadow that I encounter daily on my walks, swims and paddles in the rugged and wild part of Ontario that I live.
I have delivered many new abstract, landscape-based paintings to Earls Court Gallery for my dual-artist show,“I Frequently Go There…”, Oct 5 to Nov 11. I am thrilled that two of these pieces were sold even before I made my delivery! To see the rest of this new body of work, visit Earls Court Gallery in Hamilton!
“I Frequently Go There…” is the title of the exhibition at Earls Court Gallery, Hamilton, of new work by myself and by landscape artist Clarence Porter. The show pairs work inspired by environments beloved by each — my organic, abstract cold wax paintings, lush with the colours, light and textures that surround me on the wild east side of Algonquin Park, and moody, poetic pastel landscapes of Cootes Paradise in Hamilton, by Clarence Porter.
Opening reception is Thursday, October 5, 7 — 9 pm, with both artists in attendance.
