Secret Cache: small works at Earls Court Gallery, Hamilton

Earls Court Gallery is holding a small works show for the holidays, featuring new work by gallery artists, including these three pieces by me. If you’re in the Hamilton area I recommend checking it out. Earls Court is a beautiful gallery, and they represent some truly amazing artists! “Secret Cache” runs from November 26 to December 24 2016.

The weather in Maynooth is getting chilly, but my wood stove is crackling warm and I’m happy and cozy in the studio! Even though the town has quietened down, The Black Spruce Gallery is still open. My regular hours are Friday thru Monday 10 to 5, and other times by appointment or by chance. Most days I’m in the studio painting, and my “Open” sign is up! Autumn 2016

The Bancroft Studio Tour is over but I’m busy in the studio as always. Black Spruce Art Works gallery’s autumn hours are Friday thru Monday, 10 to 5. I am also open by appointment or by chance. Usually if I’m here working (most of the time!) my gallery and studio are open to visitors.

Getting ready for Bancroft Studio Tour Sept 17, 18 & 24, 25

I’m ramping up for the Bancroft Studio Tour here in the gallery. Here are two new paintings inspired by canoe trips in Algonquin Park that are now available at Black Spruce Art Works, Maynooth. The Bancroft Studio Tour takes place the weekends of September 17, 18 and 24, 25, with lots of great artist and artisan studios to visit! My good friend and amazing artist Carol Westcott is my guest artist for the tour.

“Elemental” two artist show at Paula White Diamond Gallery opening June 15

I’m super excited about my upcoming show at Paula White Diamond Gallery in Waterloo! “Elemental” is a two artist show, teaming my landscapes with the luscious and textural abstracts of Laurie Skantzos.
Our show runs June 15 to July 2. Laurie and I will be present for the opening reception Wednesday June 15 5:30 to 8. I hope to see you there!
