I just made a quick, three day road trip to Manitoulin Island. I love that place!
\nIt is not far \u2014 yet so peaceful and refreshing. And at this time of year especially, before tourist season, the island is almost deserted \u2014 a terrific opportunity to indulge and immerse in the atmosphere of grass, water, trees and clean, bright air.<\/p>\n

At the Auberge Inn, Providence Bay, Manitoulin Island<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

My friend Beverley and I stayed at the Auberge Inn<\/a>, in Providence Bay \u2014 which I recommend highly! Hosts Nathalie and Alain were warm and friendly \u2014 and great cooks! \u2014 and the house and our room so cozy and comfortable.
